Why Can I Only Get Customer Service Through Email?
To be honest, it’s the only way for us to keep track of what’s going on. Also, with so many people in so many time zones around the world, I can’t possibly man the phones 24 hours a day for support. I usually do emails from odd locations at odd hours, and I can get them done fast this way. The same is true for my helpdesk personnel. Email is also much faster than talking on the phone and allows me to actually get everything done in a day.
Should I Email Griff Or The Helpdesk?
If you’re a customer, the best way to get help is the forum. If you don’t have forum access, and it’s a music related question or related to a specific course, email me at email@example.com. Due to the high volume of email I receive, I’ll do my best to answer quickly, but it may take a couple of days. If you have any sort of customer service question, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and you’ll usually get a response in less than 24 hours.
Occasionally mistakes are made and technology fails us. Modern SPAM filters can be brutal at the ISP level (before the emails even get to your computer) and there are times when emails do not get to where they need to be. On the rare occasion that this happens I will figure out a way to get in touch with you and work out whatever problems you are having.
